Tottenham were keeping an eye on West Ham star and now he is up for sale

Recent reports now state that Tottenham and other Premier League clubs could now move for Mohammed Kudus as West Ham prepares to sell.

If you have been following SpursWeb’s coverage in recent weeks, you’ll know that Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a fair few wingers.

Tyler Dibling has been reported as Spurs’ main target for the wings this summer, while there has also been talk of Tottenham showing interest in Manchester City’s Jack Grealish.

Now, fresh reports suggest that Tottenham could make a move for West Ham United’s Mohammed Kudus.

Tottenham were keeping an eye on Mohammed Kudus

According to TBR Football, West Ham United are ready to sell Mohammed Kudus as they approach their PSR limits.

It is stated that to free up funds and allow Graham Potter and the recruitment team to reshape the squad, sales are necessary, and Kudus is seen as the club’s most sellable asset.

Tottenham, along with several other Premier League clubs, are said to have previously monitored Kudus, who has been one of West Ham’s standout performers.

The 24-year-old Ghana international is open to a move and has a release clause this summer worth £85 million.

Kudus’ release clause could be a stumbling block for Spurs

However, given Kudus’ hefty release clause, it seems highly unlikely that a Premier League club will match it.

The Saudi Pro League is keeping an eye on him, and they are one of the few parties who might be willing to go close to that figure—something no European club is expected to do.

TBR Football also claims that Kudus—who has made 72 appearances for West Ham—would be open to the idea of moving to Saudi Arabia, which could be the more realistic destination if his price remains unchanged.
