Tottenham Hotspur are one of several Premier League giants eyeing a move for a Premier League midfielder who plays with Lucas Bergvall for Sweden.
Spurs have already reinforced their midfield with the additions of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, with the Lilywhites breaking their transfer record on both players, who cost a combined £185m.
Yves Bissouma has left the club already, while Joao Palhinha confirmed a couple of days ago that he will not be returning to Tottenham.
More midfield exits could be on the cards this summer, with Lucas Bergvall continuing to be linked with a move away from Spurs, while some sources suggest that Pape Sarr could also be on his way out of N17.

Tottenham battling three Premier League clubs for Yasin Ayari
Due to these expected exits, it appears that Roberto De Zerbi’s men are considering adding another Premier League-proven midfielder to their squad.
This is according to CaughtOffside, who say that Brighton’s Yasin Ayari has emerged as a target for the Lilywhites ahead of the new season.
The Sweden international established himself as a key cog in the Seagulls’ midfield last season, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 29 Premier League appearances.
The 22-year-old’s impressive displays have not only brought him to the attention of Tottenham, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle United also credited with an interest in the youngster.
Brighton are making efforts to keep Ayari
The midfielder’s current deal at the Amex Stadium has just one year left, which is why CaughtOffside say that he is entering an ‘important stage’ in his career.
The website reveals that Fabian Hurzeler sees Ayari as a key part of his set-up and Brighton are keen to tie him down to a new deal before he attracts aggressive approaches from other Premier League sides.
In fact, it is revealed that the Seagulls have already opened talks with the midfielder over a long-term contract.
