Tottenham could sign another forward after Manor Solomon – Alasdair Gold reports

Alasdair Gold has claimed via Football.London that Tottenham Hotspur might not yet be done strengthening their forward line this summer despite the impending arrival of Manor Solomon.

With Lucas Moura and Arnaut Danjuma departing the club, the Lilywhites needed reinforcements in the wide areas and the club are now seemingly on the verge of delivering just that.

Fabrizio Romano revealed on Twitter earlier that Solomon underwent his medical with Tottenham yesterday and has signed his contract ahead of being officially unveiled as their new signing.

Spurs on the lookout for other attacking additions

Gold has now stated in his latest column that Tottenham are on the lookout for ‘young prospects for the future’ to add to their forward line.

The Lilywhites are said to be keeping a close eye on some young wingers and strikers, with the journalist adding that another attacking signing cannot be ruled out before the transfer window closes.

Gold wrote: ‘Tottenham are always on the lookout for young prospects for the future and will continue to look at such signings during this window, across all departments of the team, as well as any opportunities that arise in the market so do not rule out the arrival of any other young wingers or strikers.’

Gold also reveals that Ange Postecoglou will analyse Dane Scarlett and Troy Parrott during pre-season before deciding if either striker is ready for a first-team place or whether another loan move would be ideal for their development.

Spurs Web Opinion

I think whether or not Tottenham move for another winger, could depend on Postecoglou’s decision on Bryan Gil.

If the Australian feels that the 22-year-old can have an important first-team role next season, I do not see Spurs entering the market for another wide player, unless they see a market opportunity that is too good to turn down.
