Tottenham defender in talks with Huddersfield over move

Tottenham Hotspur defender Jaden Brown is in talks with Huddersfield Town over a potential move according to Football London.

Brown is currently 19, but turns 20 next month, and has been a regular in the academy set up at Tottenham this season.

He has appeared for the U23 side, the U21s in the Checkatrade Trophy, and the U19s in the UEFA Youth League.

The youngster will be keen to get some first team experience in the Premier League or Championship as he ends his teenage years.

The young left-back is unlikely to knock Kyle Walker-Peters away from the back up full back spot at Spurs currently.

Brown has just 6 months left on his contract at Tottenham, and missed out on this year’s pre season tour of the US, despite being included in 2017.

It is unclear whether this will be a loan move or a more permanent transfer, but the latter seems more likely.
