Tottenham defender wanted by Marseille in shock transfer twist

According to reports in The Mirror, French club Marseille are interested in signing Tottenham left-back Danny Rose before the transfer window slams shut on August 31.

The Spurs star had previously been linked with a £50m move to giants PSG, but it is thought that he may now be available for as little as £22m.

Tottenham became the first club ever to fail to make a single summer signing this year, however, they do already have Kyle Walker-Peters at the club, who has covered the left-back position numerous times for England youth teams.

After a series of injuries and fall outs, it appears that the 28-year-old Danny Rose is no longer in Pochettino’s plans, and the Spurs manager is said to be happy for him to go out on loan, or on a permanent deal.

Do you think that Spurs should be selling Rose? And how much would you want for him?
