Tottenham are set for a hectic festive period in December and January, with four games scheduled -including a Boxing Day matchup.
Tottenham Hotspur’s focus for this season is on domestic competition after the Lilywhites failed to secure European football following a dismal 17th-place finish last campaign.
However, this season has not started any differently for Tottenham, who find themselves in 18th place after three Premier League matches, where they remain winless.
Spurs, though, have shown signs of improvement with each game, as they managed their first point in the clash against Nottingham Forest in matchweek three thanks to a 0-0 draw at the City Ground.
Tottenham’s festive fixtures confirmed for December
Up next for Tottenham is a game against Everton, and despite it still being early days in the Premier League, the match is already dubbed a must-win for Roberto De Zerbi’s men.
The fixtures are sure to continue to come thick and fast this season, with attention turning to the Carabao Cup next midweek for Tottenham after the game against Everton, before Spurs round up September with a clash against Aston Villa ahead of the first international break.
With the season slowly gathering momentum, the Premier League has now confirmed Tottenham’s festive fixtures during December.
Spurs are set for a Boxing Day matchup on 26 December with a home clash against Bournemouth. Three days later, they take on Brighton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Then, on 3 January 2027, they face Manchester City at the Etihad, followed by a trip to Craven Cottage to play Fulham on 6 January.
Spurs must focus on immediate challenges before festive run
Tottenham would certainly have to take it one game at a time instead of looking far ahead to December.
Spurs Web has since compared Spurs’ next five games with those of their big six rivals, and given the upcoming fixtures for the Lilywhites, they have a lot to do if they are to close the gap between themselves and the top five.
In their next five matches, Tottenham have games against two big six rivals, including Manchester United and Chelsea, two sides in much better form than they are.
Getting points on the board at this stage of the season will prove vital for Spurs when the festive fixtures arrive.
