Tottenham draft ambitious plan to re-sign Harry Kane despite his latest statement

The Tottenham hierarchy have a clear plan in mind regarding Harry Kane despite the striker’s lukewarm statements regarding a Spurs return.

The England captain has now addressed the speculation over his future on two different occasions over the last week.

Last week, Kane said that he can see himself staying at Bayern Munich for longer, and revealed that the desire to return to the Premier League is not as strong as it once was.

A few days ago, Kane stated that Spurs will always have a special place in his heart, but insisted that he is happy at the Allianz Arena for now.

Despite these statements, it appears that Tottenham are not giving up on their dream of bringing the centre-forward back to N17.

ENIC have drafted a big Harry Kane plan for Tottenham

According to a report in TEAMtalk, Spurs are continuing to plan ahead for a blockbuster move to bring their record goalscorer back to the club next season.

Sources close to the club indicate that ENIC are prepared to break the bank to make a Kane reunion a reality, and they would not only be prepared to cover his release clause but also match the substantial wages he currently earns at Bayern.

The Lewis family want to make the move happen to signal their intent as they are keen to deliver a marquee signing to boost Tottenham’s ambitions of competing for major trophies.

The report says that Man United are also in the race for Kane, but they would find the deal difficult to do, given their current predicament and the striker’s emotional connections with Spurs.

What is Kane thinking about a Spurs return?

TEAMtalk allege that despite the England captain’s recent statements, he remains intent on returning to the Premier League in the future.

The 32-year-old is thought to be keen on breaking Alan Shearer’s record of 260 goals, with the Tottenham legend currently 47 goals behind that tally.

The publication says that Bayern are aware of the centre-forward’s ambition to return to England in the future, but they are hopeful they can extend his stay with the promise of winning more trophies.
