Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race for Troy Parrott, but they will face competition from two other Premier League clubs and a Serie A giant for the striker.
The centre-forward is now fulfilling the promise he showed while coming through the ranks of the Tottenham Hotspur academy.
Parrott has found the back of the net 31 times and provided 12 assists across 48 appearances for AZ Alkmaar this term, and his impressive displays have led to growing speculation over a summer transfer.
It has emerged over recent weeks that several Premier League clubs are looking to bring the former Spurs man back to England this summer.

According to a report in Soccer News, Tottenham have registered interest in re-signing Parrott, two years on from selling him to AZ Alkmaar for £6.7m.
The outlet claims that the 24-year-old striker could be ready to take the next step in his career after his breakout season in the Eredivisie.
Tottenham are expected to face competition from Everton and Leeds, who are both on the lookout for a new number nine and have set their sights on the Irishman.
Additionally, AC Milan are also very much in the mix to land Parrott as they are exploring the feasibility of taking the striker to the San Siro.
Why Spurs may have an advantage over Parrott’s other suitors
It was reported last month that Parrott would be in favour of a fairytale return to Tottenham this summer.
Spurs may feel that the striker’s connection with the club may give them an advantage in the transfer race, and there is also another factor working in the Lilywhites’ favour.
Tottenham have a 20 per cent sell-on clause on Parrott, which means that they can land the Republic of Ireland international for a discounted price.
