Tottenham employee makes funny stadium gaffe

Tottenham Hotspur were magnificent against Manchester City on Tuesday night, as they edged out the Premier League champions to a 1-0 home victory.

This was the very first European night under the lights played at the new stadium, and Spurs would have been determined to have it recorded as a win in the history books.

Along with their 2-0 Premier League debut victory against Crystal Palace, Spurs still have a 100% win ration in their new home.

After giving away and controversial VAR-assisted penalty in the first half, saved by Lloris, Spurs went on to control the match.

They finally got the breakthrough when Heung Min Son raced clear, cut in from the byline and smashed the ball home just before the 80 minute mark.

The game was definitely highlight worthy, but one Spurs employee apparently missed the memo about the new stadium.

In the SpursTV highlights for the game, the editor forgot to correct the location of the match from Wembley to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (talkSPORT).

Fans will be thanking their lucky stars they aren’t actually at Wembley anymore.
