Tottenham Hotspur are interested in bringing a former Chelsea winger back to the Premier League during the summer transfer window.
Ahead of the January window, it was widely reported that Tottenham would prioritise signing a big-name winger, but in the end, the club failed to strengthen their attack.
This is despite Spurs’ major injury crisis and the fact that they sold Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace at the start of the window.
One would thus expect a wide player to be a priority in the summer, and it has now emerged that the Lilywhites have expressed an interest in a Serie A star.

Tottenham are one of three English clubs interested in Christian Pulisic
Calciomercato.it are now reporting that Milan are looking to restructure their squad in the summer and could sacrifice a former Chelsea man.
The Rossoneri would be willingto cash in on Christian Pulisic to fund a move for their top targets, and they are hoping that there would be a bidding war for the USA international if he has a strong World Cup.
It is revealed that Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Man United are all fans of Pulisic and are monitoring his situation.
The report adds that the Serie A club are hoping to raise €55m (£47.8m) from the sale of the 27-year-old winger.
Tottenham have reportedly been in repeat contact with Mauricio Pochettino over a potential summer return. Pulisic is a player Poch knows well from his time in charge of the US men’s national team.
Spurs’ top winger target may be slipping away
During the January window, it was reported that Yan Diomande was among the names at the top of Tottenham’s wishlist, but the winger ended up staying put at RB Leipzig.
Over recent weeks, Spurs have learned that Diomande is wanted by several other elite clubs across Europe, making a summer deal difficult.
It has also been suggested that Tottenham may be priced out of a move for the Ivorian, who could cost more than £80m.
