Tottenham have had their eyes on an English teenage winger for months, but they have now been joined by plenty of other Premier League clubs.
According to reports, Roberto De Zerbi has been handed plenty of power at Tottenham to shape the club’s squad over the upcoming transfer windows.
It will be interesting to see if the club’s approach in the market changes, and they shift their focus to signing proven performers, or if they continue with their strategy of pursuing talented but raw youngsters.
One teenage starlet, who is turning heads with his performances in the Championship, has caught the Lilywhites’ eye ahead of the summer.

Tottenham will have to battle Premier League rivals for Jeremy Monga
It has been widely reported that Spurs are plotting a move for Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga, who became the Premier League’s second-youngest debutant last season at just 15 years and 271 days.
The winger has got regular game time under his belt in the Championship this season, having made 25 appearances, and it was suggested that Spurs were looking to move to the front of the queue for the Leicester star in January.
However, Tottenham may find a deal for the 16-year-old hard to complete in the summer, as TEAMtalk now claims that three other Premier League clubs have entered the picture.
The report says that Man United are the latest club to enter the race for Monga, joining the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City in the transfer race.
In what comes as a concerning update for Spurs, it is revealed that the Gunners, Cityzens and the Red Devils are ‘primed to make formal approaches’ for the teenage attacker, who has one goal and two assists to his name this season.
Additionally, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford have all registered an interest in the highly-rated attacker.
Leicester’s stance on Spurs target Monga revealed
The battle for the winger is not restricted to the Premier League, with Real Madrid, Juventus, and Borussia Dortmund also keeping a close eye on his progress.
Monga is not eligible to sign his first professional contract yet, but Leicester are already making plans to secure his future.
The Foxes are preparing to offer professional terms to the winger as soon as he turns 17 this July, but Premier League clubs are looking to pounce on the youngster before it happens.
It was suggested during the January window by Fichajes that it would take an offer of €25m (£21.6m) to land Monga, but it is unclear how such a steep fee may apply since the youngster has not yet signed professionally at the King Power Stadium.
