Tottenham Hotspur are now facing a fresh Andy Robertson concern as talks emerge ahead of the summer window.
With Destiny Udogie’s fitness problems after picking up yet another injury in Tottenham’s clash against Manchester United, Spurs’ failure to sign Andy Robertson now looks a lot worse.
Young full-back Souza is currently the only natural full-back option available to Thomas Frank, with Pedro Porro, Djed Spence and Ben Davies all sidelined because of injuries.
Spurs were close to landing Robertson in the winter window for a modest fee, but Liverpool prevented the deal from going through after Joe Gomez picked up an injury.

Tottenham target Andy Robertson in Celtic talks as summer decision looms
The Scotland international is set to become a free agent in the summer and could pretty much pick his preferred destination if Liverpool does not extend his stay.
Sports Boom are now reporting that such work could be on the way, as Celtic are understood to be in talks with Robertson’s agents over a move to Celtic Park.
The 31-year-old has links with the Scottish side, having come through there as a youth player, although he failed to make it through to the first team.
It is said that not only have talks begun between Celtic and Robertson, but a return to Scotland is increasingly likely after this summer’s World Cup in North America.
Spurs face competition for Andy Robertson’s signature
Celtic are not the only ones standing in the way of Spurs, as we reported a few days back, other English sides, including Aston Villa, are keen on the full-back.
Liverpool themselves are also said to be considering extending Robertson’s current deal for the short term as they continue their rebuild.
It is claimed that the full-back’s experience will be of use to the Reds as they look to rebuild their squad in the coming seasons.
