Tottenham fan books his Champions League 2020 final flights a year early

Tottenham Hotspur reached their very first Champions League final this season, unfortunately losing to Liverpool in the final.

However, fans will remember that the Reds also lost in last year’s final, so perhaps hope is not lost for the Lilywhites.

One loyal Spurs supporter has already banked on his team reaching back-to-back finals, while also solving the problem of travel price hikes.

It was well-documented this year that fans were forced to pay through the nose for flights and accommodation to Madrid to watch the final (Daily Mail).

Some Tottenham fans paid £559 for Thomas Cook flight tickets, only to be delayed by seven hours, taking off just 2.5 hours before kick-off (Daily Mail).

However, this Spurs fan has managed to secure his golden ticket to Istanbul for just £59 ahead of the 2020 final.

He even arrives a couple of weeks early in order to enjoy the weather and tourist activities.

Smart thinking.
