Tottenham Hotspur goal keeper Hugo Lloris has caused huge controversy so far this season.
This first started when the World Cup winning keeper was caught disgracefully drunk behind the wheel of his car by police during the early portion of the season.
Since this point, it seems as if the Frenchman has really gone off the boil with his game.
His shot stopping is as good as it has always been, but the decision making when it comes to whether he should come off his line or stay put has blurred.
Lloris has been at fault for a number of conceded goals in recent games, and even got sent off in his last Champions League match.
This has been happening simultaneously with the rise of Paulo Gazzaniga through the Tottenham ranks, as he made his Champions League debut last night.
Gazza won man of the match in his first three Tottenham appearances, and has looked generally class, commanding, and confident between the sticks.
This was personified by a moment of magic that had Tottenham fan’s hearts in their mouths against PSV.
With the opposition forward closing him down, Gazzaniga decided to fake a hoof downfield before Cruyff turning past the sliding striker.
One Spurs fan has claimed Hugo Lloris would never had pulled off such a piece of skill, especially not in his current form.
