Tottenham fans are all voicing the same opinion after Fabio Paratici was handed a suspended prison sentence following his involvement in the Juventus scandal.
It emerged yesterday that former Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici had been handed a suspended prison sentence following his involvement in the Juventus scandal.
The Italian had only just completed his 30-month ban from football and looked set to make a return to the game this summer, with AC Milan and Tottenham reported to be interested in bringing Paratici back into the fold.
AC Milan ultimately failed to secure his services, and with Daniel Levy no longer at the helm in north London, the possibility of Paratici returning to Tottenham has become far more complicated.

Tottenham fans react to Fabio Paratici suspended sentence
Tottenham fans have long admired Paratici for his work in north London, where he played a key role in the recruitment of several top players who now make up the backbone of Thomas Frank’s current first team.
However, following confirmation of his suspended prison sentence, Spurs fans are now united in their views on the former director, with many making it clear they want no return for him.
One supporter said: “It is time to move on from Fabio Paratici.” Another added: “He has done it once, he will probably do it again. I do not want him near our club.”
A third commented: “Bloody hell. I think we really need shot of him. He can be effective but he is a bloody liability.” Another fan summed up the general feeling by saying: “That is maybe why they are not sure about employing him again.”
Paratici’s Tottenham future looks unlikely
Paratici is not expected to serve time in prison as long as he avoids further criminal activity during his suspended sentence.
Even so, the Premier League’s strict regulations make it difficult to see how the Italian could ever have a realistic chance of returning to Tottenham in an official role.
As of 2023, the rules clearly state that anyone convicted of serious offences such as corruption, fraud or tax evasion cannot be appointed to the board of a Premier League club.
But, with Fabio Paratici having already worked in a consultancy capacity at Tottenham, it remains to be seen whether that will continue going forward.
