Tottenham Hotspur fans have been treated to their first look at Heung-min Son’s new mural, as one of the club’s greatest modern icons prepares to say goodbye.
In a couple of hours, Heung-min Son will take to the pitch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to say a proper goodbye to Tottenham supporters after his departure in the summer.
The Korean international gave the best part of his illustrious career to Spurs, spending a decade in N17, creating memories that remain dear to many fans.
Son won the Europa League trophy in what was his final season last term and celebrated with thousands of Tottenham fans after; however, his departure during the pre-season tour meant there was no chance for a proper goodbye.

Tottenham share new Heung-min Son mural ahead of farewell match
The Champions League tie against Slavia Prague has since been confirmed as the former captain’s farewell game, with kick-off scheduled for 8 pm UK time.
Many Spurs fans will be making their way to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to say a final goodbye to the 33-year-old, who now plays in MLS.
In tribute to the Korean star, Spurs also confirmed that a mural will be painted in honour of him, right alongside murals of Harry Kane and Ledley King.
The completed mural has now been shared on social media, with the artwork carrying the inscription Sonny Spurs Legend, alongside an image of Son lifting the Europa League trophy on that iconic night in Bilbao, Spain.
Spurs continue push for top eight in the Champions League
It sure will be an emotional day, but the presence of the former captain and club legend should serve as a boost to the players on the pitch who are pushing for a top-eight finish in the Champions League.
Thomas Frank’s side currently find themselves outside eighth, sat in 16th place, but they are still in with a chance of nicking eighth place.
A victory over Slavia Prague will be a big boost as Tottenham could end the night in the automatic qualification places, as just two points separate them from eighth-placed Sporting.
