The final touches are being put on Heung-min Son’s new mural on the Tottenham High Road in preparation for the South Korean’s return tomorrow.
The former Spurs captain will return to N17 for the first time since his move to Los Angeles FC four months ago.
It has been confirmed that Son will be the special guest during Tottenham’s home match against Slavia Prague, with the 33-year-old admitting that it will be ’emotional’ to meet his former teammates and the supporters again.
Last week, the club announced that a mural is being created for Son on the Tottenham High Road, and it is now almost complete.

Watch artists put the finishing touches to Heung-min Son’s Tottenham mural
A few days ago, it became clear that Son’s mural will go up on the side wall of the 3 Points Cafe, which is located on the opposite side of the road from the Bricklayers Arms pub.
The club have shared a video of the artists at work on the mural, with work almost fully complete.
Spurs fans will not be surprised to see that the design for the mural is based on Son’s infamous camera celebration that the supporters saw many a time during his decade-long stay at the club.
Son’s return will be special for Spurs fans
There is arguably not a single player over recent decades who is as adored by the Tottenham Hotspur fan base as Son.
It was unfortunate that the forward did not get a proper goodbye since the deal with LAFC was agreed upon during the club’s pre-season tour to South Korea.
There is no doubt that it will be special for the fans to catch a glimpse of their hero again, and Son will get an outstanding reception. His return could potentially set the stage for a cracking atmosphere against Slavia Prague.
