Following Tottenham Hotspur’s clash against Manchester United, the Tottenham fanbase is in one voice after Kevin Danso’s valiant display.

Tottenham Hotspur’s defensive struggles
For most of this season, Tottenham Hotspur has been without their first-choice centre-backs, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero who are expected to return in two weeks.
In their absence, Ange Postecoglou has relied on 18-year-old Archie Gray, newly signed Kevin Danso and ever-reliable Ben Davies.
In the clash against Manchester United on Sunday, the Australian manager went for a Kevin Danso and Ben Davies centre-back pairing – this saw them keep a clean sheet as Spurs secured a narrow 1-0 victory against the Red Devils.

Tottenham Hotspur fans give solid review to Kevin Danso after Man United performance
Following the Lilywhites’ victory, we took to social media X, to ask fans their thoughts on Kevin Danso’s performance against Manchester United. The fanbase was in one voice as they shared their thought.
One fan, Jordic Spirit acknowledged that the performance was good, but had a few reservations on Danso’s passing, he said: “Pretty good, strong, not exactly the fastest guy but seems to play with intelligence. His long balls are pretty good, but his short passes are a mild concern. He’ll grow into the team well”
Kenneth#COYS is impressed at how quickly the centre-back has fit in, he said: “Looks steady and has a calmness about him, looks like he will fit in nicely”
Gavin sees Danso’s potential and has stated he could become a big player in the league, he said: “Impressive. Has been from his first minute. Looks like he could be a big time player in this league.”
Finlay Warby, simply rated his performance an “8/10.” Ecurbow is pleased with the signing and performance but believes the new signing is not up to Van de Ven and Romero’s standards.
He said: “Pretty solid shift. It was a good signing by Ange as we needed a defender with the injuries. I’m sure with Ange, he’ll improve. Not better than Micky or Cuti, but I’m sure he’ll improve for solid rotation or injury help.”

Is Kevin Danso another injury for Tottenham Hotspur?
While fans agreed that the centre-back put in a solid performance against Manchester United, a few were concerned about his fitness, as on Sunday he was subbed off in the 78th minute after picking up a knock.
FootballForecasterFPL tweeted, “Clean sheet so it’s good. But all we want to know is is Danso injured?” After the game, Ange Postecoglou provided an update, on Kevin Danso’s fitness. He said: “Danso, Rodri and Sonny all picked up knocks.
“They should be fine but the beauty now is that we can allow them to rest and recover rather than throwing them straight back out there.”
