Tottenham fans receive a welcome boost after broadcasters fail to choose matches for live coverage

New dates and timings have been confirmed for Tottenham’s clash at home against one of the Premier League title contenders.

On paper, Spurs had a relatively easy start to the season, but things have heated up over the last few weeks for Thomas Frank’s men.

After playing the likes of Aston Villa, Chelsea and Man United in quick succession, the Lilywhites now have to back-to-back away clashes against Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain coming up.

Tottenham’s fixture list does get easier in December and the New Year, but the time and date of one of their big matches in 2026 has been modified.

Tottenham’s fixture against Man City has been rearranged

With the Premier League broadcast selection process for the remainder of January now completed, Spurs have announced that their fixture against Man City has been rearranged.

According to the club’s official website, Tottenham will host Pep Guardiola’s side at home on Sunday, February 1, with kick-off scheduled for 4.30 pm.

Spurs’ January fixture list also contains another rare occurrence, with Frank’s men playing on two consecutive Saturdays at 3 pm in the month, something which will certainly appeal to the supporters who travel home and away in not to have to content with an unsociable kick-off times to cater for television companies.

The Lilywhites host West Ham United at home on Saturday, 17th January, before they travel to Turf Moor to take on Burnley on Saturday, 24th January.

Two Spurs players could be unavailable through December and January

With the African Cup of Nations kicking off next month, Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma are guaranteed to miss at least three matches for Tottenham.

If either Mali or Senegal make it all the way to the final, the pair could miss as many as seven matches, up until the Champions League game against Borussia Dortmund on January 20.

The good news is that Mohammed Kudus will be available for Tottenham through December and January as Ghana have not qualified for the AFCON.
