Mason is not a stranger to coaching, having stepped up on several occasions during his time at Tottenham, often taking the role of caretaker manager.

The former Tottenham caretaker has been nominated for August’s Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award, a recognition that underlines how well his side has begun under his guidance.
Mason currently has West Brom sitting second in the Championship table, having won three of his opening four fixtures and drawn the other, keeping an unbeaten start and giving the supporters plenty of reason for optimism.
