Tottenham fans will hate Jeff Stelling’s score prediction for Crystal Palace away

Jeff Stelling is concerned about one factor for Crystal Palace as he predicts the result of the Premier League clash between Tottenham and the Eagles.

Spurs head to Selhurst Park on the back of a shocking run of results, where they have won just one in their last eight Premier League games.

The Lilywhites desperately need to get back to winning ways in what will be their final fixture of 2025, with Thomas Frank being under enormous pressure.

Guglielmo Vicario is hopeful Tottenham may have turned a corner with their performance against Liverpool, praising the fight his teammates showed despite their numerical disadvantage.

Jeff Stelling predicts another Tottenham defeat

Stelling admitted that he is worried fatigue may be a factor for a thin Palace squad, who are coming off a physically and emotionally draining Carabao Cup quarterfinal defeat at the Emirates Stadium.

However, the presenter still expects Oliver Glasner’s men to get three piles and pile on the misery for the North London club.

Stelling told talkSPORT: “Palace did the double over Tottenham this season, but I worry that the games are coming thick and fast for too thin a squad (Palace).

“Domestically, it has been a miserable 2025 for Spurs. Can they end it on a high? I am not so sure.”

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs could be missing nine players for their trip to Palace

Tottenham currently have five players out injured, while two of their players, Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma, are away at AFCON.

Additionally, Xavi Simons and Cristian Romero are suspended for the Palace clash after their red cards against Liverpool.

It will thus be a severely depleted Tottenham side heading to South London, but Frank would hope that his players are fresher, given his opponents’ midweek exertions.
