Dele Alli has reacted to news suggesting that Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of agreeing a deal for Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye.

As one would expect in the final few days of the transfer window, there have been several surprise developments over the last 24 hours.

Tottenham appear set to lose out to Man City in the race for Cody Gakpo, but the Lilywhites have reacted by making a big move for another Premier League winger.

According to reports, Spurs have agreed a double deal with Everton, which will see Iliman Ndiaye come to N17 and Richarlison return to his former club.

Dele Alli approves Tottenham’s pursuit of Iliman Ndiaye

The Senegal international has been at Everton for two years, joining in 2024, the same summer when Dele left the Merseyside club after the end of his contract.

The former Spurs star is clearly a fan of the attacker and took to social media to express his delight at the rumoured agreement.

Reacting to Fabrizio Romano’s Instagram post about Tottenham agreeing a deal for Ndiaye, Dele commented one simple word: ‘Baller’. And after the season Spurs endured in 2025/26, they can use all the ballers they can get.

Ndiaye helps solve Spurs’ issues in attack

Mathys Tel has not taken his opportunities at the start of the season to make the left-wing spot his own.

There is no doubt that the Frenchman is one player that Tottenham can upgrade on, and Ndiaye undoubtedly walks into Roberto De Zerbi’s starting eleven over the 21-year-old.

The former Marseille man has scored 16 goals over the past two seasons at Everton, and Spurs fans will be hoping he can help solve the Lilywhites’ issues in the final third.
