Christian Eriksen has spoken about the speculation linking Harry Kane with a return to Tottenham Hotspur.
Eriksen saw Kane’s rise from the Spurs academy and his evolution into one of the best strikers in the world first-hand during his time in North London.
The Dane certainly provided plenty of assists for the England captain, who has continued breaking all sorts of records since his move to Bayern Munich.
Tottenham have a first refusal option on their former striker, giving the club the right to match any bids that arrive for the forward.

Christian Eriksen wants to see Harry Kane back at Tottenham
Reports indicate that Spurs are hoping to pull on Kane’s heartstrings by selling the prospect of a fairytale return to N17, but it remains to be seen if that would appeal to the striker.
Tottenham’s record goalscorer has played down talks of leaving Bayern Munich, and has suggested that he could stay in Bavaria beyond the end of the season, but Eriksen remains hopeful that the centre-forward would one day return home.
The 33-year-old said about Kane to The Times: “I would love to see him back at Spurs. From the outside, I would love to see that because it would be a special reunion both for him and the club. It’s his decision, right or wrong, but as a fan, it would be fun to watch.”
Kane has already made a decision on his future
The former Spurs man has a £57m release clause in his contract, which becomes active next summer, which is why speculation persists over his future.
Spurs are not the only ones showing interest in Kane’s situation, with the likes of Barcelona also thought to be keen on the striker.
However, it was claimed by TEAMtalk earlier this month that Kane has decided not to leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season and is ready to pen a one-year contract extension at Bayern.
