Harry Kane’s future continues to fuel debate, with Gary Neville and Ian Wright weighing in on whether the striker could one day return to Tottenham.
Harry Kane has two years left on his Bayern Munich contract, and speculation about his next move is already gathering pace as the forward edges closer to what could be the final chapter of his career.
The 32-year-old, however, has shown no signs of slowing down, having reached 100 goals in just 104 appearances for Bayern Munich, underlining his remarkable consistency in front of goal.
Real Madrid are understood to be monitoring Kane closely, while Tottenham remain in the mix given their first refusal clause, with suggestions that the England international could be available for less than £60 million in the summer of 2026.

Gary Neville and Ian Wright discuss Harry Kane Tottenham return
On the ‘Stick to Football’ podcast, Gary Neville, Ian Wright, Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher debated the possibility of Harry Kane coming back to the Premier League and, more specifically, whether a return to Tottenham could be on the cards.
When asked if Kane would consider a move back to England, Ian Wright was quick to respond that he believes the forward has unfinished business, saying: “I think he’d probably want to come back”.
Neville then agreed: “I think he’ll come back.” Keane asked: “Just for the record?”
Wright then continued, “I think not just for the record, I just think to just finish off there and probably maybe try and see if he can be a part of a team that wins something at Tottenham.
“Obviously, they’ve won the Europa. But for him and his legacy to be at Tottenham and maybe win something at the end of it and then go on to maybe get the goals.”
Neville and Wright on Harry Kane return to Tottenham or Chelsea
The discussion eventually turned to which clubs could realistically sign Kane if he decided to return, with the panel narrowing it down to either Spurs or Chelsea.
Neville asked whether a move across London could be an option: “So he cannot go to Arsenal, but can he go to Chelsea?” Wright was quick to rule it out in his eyes, saying: “I’d go back to Tottenham if Tottenham wanted me”.
Neville: “No, but he wants to win things that you just said at the end of his career…”
Wright: “If he comes back, he wants to win things with Tottenham.”
Carragher added: “I think he’d want to finish with his club, wouldn’t he?”
Neville: “Chelsea are the club that I can see them having the biggest impact in and shooting most.
“I think at Chelsea, if you look at the team at the moment and you think what’s missing, they have got a lack of sort of what would be prominence up front and they’ve got a lot of energy and enthusiasm and potential around it with Parma and all the rest of them.
“He would be great at Chelsea as a player, but can he go to Chelsea because of the rivalry?”
Wright: “I think he’d want to go back to Spurs.”
