Tottenham find out potential Champions League semi-final opponents

Tottenham Hotspur face their own Champions League quarter final tomorrow night, but the first two teams in the semis of the 2018/19 have already been decided.

Manchester United faced an away trip to Barcelona tonight, and Ajax travelled to play Juventus in Italy.

United fell foul to the Lionel Messi show in Spain, losing the game 3-0 thanks to two goals from the Argentine and a third from Coutinho. That made it 4-0 on aggregate and saw Barcelona qualify for the semis.

Ajax and Juventus went into their second leg all square at 1-1, with Juventus boating an away goal.

However, Ajax came from behind to win 2-1 on the night away to Juve, booking their place as unlikely semi finalists.

As the draw for the semis took place at the same time as the quarters, we know exactly who Spurs will be playing if they make it through to the next round themselves.

If Tottenham can win, draw, or score and lose by just one tomorrow night in Manchester, they will play Ajax in pursuit of the Champions League final.
