Ben White has revealed that beating Tottenham has been his favourite moment so far as an Arsenal player.
The 23-year-old became the Gunners’ most expensive defender in their history after joining the club from Brighton for £50 million over the summer.
He started for Arsenal in the North London Derby just under two weeks ago, playing a key role as his side claimed bragging rights with a 3-1 win at the Emirates Stadium.
It was a day to forget for Nuno Espirito Santo and his team, who found themselves three goals down and out of the game after just 35 minutes.
White’s career in the red half of North London is still in its early stages, but he feels he already has a positive moment in his mind that sticks out to him.
When quizzed on what his favourite moment has been so far on Arsenal’s Twitch channel, he said: “Tottenham. For sure.
“I think you know how the game’s going to go by the first action that you do and mine was a tackle on Son. You can feel the atmosphere before the game and you could tell how it was going to go.”

Spurs made it so easy for Arsenal during the clash two weeks ago, and it wasn’t really a contest. White dominated for the Gunners, but again the Spurs players allowed him to do it without much trouble. The team will have to make it back up in the reverse fixture later this season.
