Tottenham Hotspur have been named as a potential suitor for a striker who could follow in the footsteps of Randal Kolo Muani.

Randal Kolo Muani is not expected to stay at Tottenham beyond the end of his loan spell this season, while it has also been reported that Spurs are ready to cash in on Richarlison this summer.

The Lilywhites are thus expected to be in the market for a new number nine this summer, and according to reports, Tottenham have already explored moves for some experienced centre-forwards.

Over recent months, it has been claimed that Spurs have launched multiple enquiries for a Juventus striker, but it has now been revealed that they are not the only ones interested in the player.

Tottenham battling relegation rivals for Jonathan David

According to a report in TuttoSport, Jonathan David’s future ‘appears increasingly distant’ from Turin after the striker failed to make the expected impact at Juventus.

The report names Spurs as a potential suitor for the 26-year-old, who has scored seven goals and provided five assists for the Bianconeri this season.

However, Tottenham are not the only ones eyeing a summer move for David, with Nottingham Forest and West Ham also credited with an interest in the striker.

It is revealed that Juve are willing to listen to offers for the former Lille man, a year on from his move to the Italian giants on a free transfer.

Lyon could also rival Spurs for David transfer

TuttoSport suggest that a return to France could also be on the cards for the Juve striker, who was extremely consistent during his time at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

It is revealed that Lyon are exploring a move to bring David back to Ligue 1 as they look to add more firepower to their attack.

It is pointed out that Lyon’s current boss, Paulo Fonseca, worked with the Canadian international during his time at Lille.
