Tottenham Hotspur had a wonderful pre-season this year, picking up wins over Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid over the last month.
Unfortunately, Spurs also lost to Man United and Inter Milan, but they performed well in both and only lost narrowly on each occasion.
Pochettino, as he often does, handed a bunch of minutes to academy youngsters in pre-season, with a number standing out amongst the crowd.
Troy Parrott was amazing up front alongside the likes of Harry Kane, Lucas Moura, and Heung Min Son, not looking out of place amongst such stars.
Japhet Tanganga also slotted in expertly at the centre of defence with Jan and Toby, barely putting a foot wrong all pre-season.
Now, these youngsters, as well as the senior team, have all been handed their squad numbers for this coming season.
