Tottenham handed boost as Arsenal bottle it for third time in a week

For the second weekend in a row, Tottenham have lost in the Premier League, but have been blessed by rivals also dropping points.

Last weekend, when Tottenham fell to a 1-0 defeat away to Man City in the League, Arsenal followed up with a loss to Crystal Palace, and Man United lost 4-0 to Everton.

Spurs then picked up a vital three points in midweek against Brighton, with Christian Eriksen’s 88th-minute screamer proving enough to take home the win.

Arsenal continued their horrid form by losing 3-1 to Wolves, and Man United also lost 2-0 to their bitter rivals Man City.

Tottenham lost against yesterday against West Ham, suffering their first defeat in the new stadium, but have been handed yet another lifeline by Arsenal bottling.

The Gunners were handed a first-half red card against Leicester City today and subsequently fell to a 3-0 loss.

Three defeats in a week for Arsenal, 3-2, 3-1, and 3-0. Somehow, Spurs have picked up just three points in three games, but are still extending their lead over their North London rivals.
