Tottenham Hotspur have now been handed a worrying Dejan Kulusevski injury timeline update, with the midfielder dealing with another setback.
The injury situation at Tottenham Hotspur has only gotten worse, with players still dropping like flies this season.
Last campaign, Ange Postecoglou lost as many as 12 players to injury, and the story remains the same with Frank, who is now missing 11 first-team players.
Since January 2026, Spurs have lost over seven senior players to injuries, severely depleting the squad.
However, some injuries date back to last year, with Dejan Kulusevski’s knee problem one such case, happening in May 2025.
The Swede underwent injury to his patella later in the same month but has yet to kick a ball in the last nine months.

Tottenham injury concern as Dejan Kulusevski faces longer lay-off
We reported earlier that Dejan Kulusevski could make a possible return in March, but that looks unlikely, with Thomas Frank revealing at the start of the week that Kulusevski was set to see a specialist in the coming days.
The 25-year-old’s situation is becoming increasingly worrying, and now Sportbladet have provided the latest on the midfielder’s situation.
According to the outlet, it is understood that Kulusevski is unlikely to be available in March.
That is because it is stated that the Tottenham attacker is ‘nowhere near stepping out’ on the pitch, as he is still working on his rehabilitation.
There is a genuine fear that the Swede will be out for longer than expected, and that could also see him miss Sweden’s clash against Ukraine on the 26th of next month.
However, there might be little hope he makes it, but that in itself has been described as miraculous, and even if that were to happen, the Tottenham star will not be able to start for Sweden.
Spurs must remain cautious with Kulusevski’s recovery
Tottenham will want to be careful with the Swede and would not want to risk rushing him back after the serious injury he picked up.
At the rate of his recovery, there is every chance that Kulusevski might return to action at the very tail end of the current season.
Frank’s Champions League squad decision was also a further hint as to where things stand with the Swede, as he was again left out of Tottenham’s Champions League squad, which pretty much suggests that he is far away from recovering.
The former Spurs boss himself revealed that he is unsure whether Kulusevski will play again this season.
