The interest in Cristian Romero is heating up ahead of the summer and it has now been revealed that Tottenham have a price in mind for their captain.

Many of Spurs’ stars may be poached by bigger clubs if they go down to the Championship this summer, with several sides already circling over the club’s prized assets.

One of those is Romero, who is attracting plenty of interest from the biggest clubs in Europe ahead of the summer.

There have also been some suggestions that there is a growing belief at N17 that it would be best for Spurs and Romero to go their separate ways.

Tottenham’s asking price of Cristian Romero revealed amidst Serie A trio’s interest

Journalist Armando Areniello has now said (via AreaNapoli) that the Spurs captain is also a big topic of conversation in Italy ahead of the summer.

He claims that Inter Milan, AS Roma and Napoli are all circling over Romero, with the latter being managed by former Tottenham boss Antonio Conte.

Additionally, Areniello asserts that the North London club would be willing to cash in on Romero for a fee of around €50m-€60m (£43.2-£52m) this summer, even though the centre-back has over three years left on his deal.

Romero accepts responsibility and makes a promise to Spurs fans

Following the 3-0 loss against Forest, Romero personally took responsibility for not doing his part, admitting that it has been a tough season.

The Tottenham captain also thanked the fans for getting behind the team even though the players have not given them much to cheer about this season.

Romero also promised Spurs fans that he will give 200 per cent in the seven ‘finals’ that the club have left, calling on everyone to stick together.
