Tottenham Hotspur have just been told that they will find it very difficult to win the race for Jobe Bellingham as three Bundesliga sides are all keen on securing the player’s services this summer.
It has been suggested over recent weeks that in order to solve their issues in the middle of the park, Spurs could turn to one teenage starlet who is setting the Championship alight this season.
Tottenham are thought to be ready to make a move for Jobe Bellingham, whose stock has risen considerably since he swapped Birmingham City for the Stadium of Light back in 2023.
It has been claimed by some sources that Bellingham could leave Sunderland for £20m this summer if the Black Cats fail to win promotion to the top-flight.

Three Bundesliga giants now circling over Bellingham
However, it has now been revealed that Tottenham will have to overcome a lot of competition to win the race for 19-year-old Jobe Bellingham this summer.
Transfer expert Graeme Bailey has revealed that Bellingham could follow in the footsteps of his older brother by making the move over to Germany this summer, explaining that Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have all had their eye on the youngster for a while.
Bailey told Sunderland AFC News: “The news of German interest in Jobe Bellingham is not new, he had interest from the Bundesliga before he even moved to Sunderland – obviously due to his name.
“But, Bellingham’s form in the last 18 months has got many scouts excited by his progress. And it is true that the likes of Leipzig, Bayern and Leverkusen are all keen, while there is also Dortmund.
“Dortmund are interested given they have their UK scout in the shape of Daniel Dodds – the brother of former Sunderland coach Mike Dodds (now Wycombe boss) – so it is not hard to see why they are so well informed of Bellingham.”
Tottenham also face Premier League competition for Jobe Bellingham
It is not just the German trio that Tottenham Hotspur have to be wary of in the race for the Sunderland man, with a Premier League rival also thought to be eyeing a move for the midfielder.
It has been reported recently that Man United are ready to battle Tottenham for Bellingham’s signature this summer, with the Red Devils also said to be big fans of the young midfielder.
The same update also suggested that the Black Cats would be in a strong position to hold on to their star man if they achieve promotion to the Premier League.
