Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a sensational January deal for an extremely talented Premier League midfielder.
Based on reports over recent weeks, it appears that Spurs are looking at various midfielders with Premier League experience ahead of the January window.
Scott McTominay, Ruben Neves and Conor Gallagher have all been mooted as targets for Tottenham, but a new report has now suggested that the Lilywhites may raid a Premier League rival for a 21-year-old.
The player in question has not been at his best since missing out on a summer move to Man United, but that has not deterred Spurs.

Tottenham plotting move for Brighton’s Carlos Baleba
According to CaughtOffside, Spurs are now sensing an opportunity to raid Brighton for Carlos Baleba in January.
The Cameroon international has blossomed into a superb talent since arriving at the Amex Stadium in 2023, but he has not been in the best of form this campaign following his failed move to Old Trafford in the summer.
The report claims that the Seagulls will demand €100m (£87.6m) for their star man, which could make the pursuit complicated for Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs could battle Man United for Baleba
CaughtOffside mention that Rubem Amorim’s men could return for Baleba in January after their failed summer move.
The outlet states that Tottenham and Man Utd are the ‘main two teams to watch’ in the race for the Brighton man.
However, interestingly, the Red Devils are said to be prioritising the likes of Elliot Anderson and Joao Gomes over the Cameroonian, which could open the door for Thomas Frank’s side to swoop for the player.
