Tottenham Hotspur are considered to be ‘below’ this target

Tottenham Hotspur failed to sign a single new player in the summer transfer window this season, becoming the first Premier League side ever to do so.

Pochettino will likely only sign in the January window if he can trim the fat around his squad, with the likes of Mousa Dembele, Victor Wanyama, Michel Vorm, Fernando Llorente, Vincent Janssen, and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou all possible outgoings.

One player who Spurs may look to bring in is PSG bad boy Adrien Rabiot, a player who has refused to sign a new deal with the French giants.

Rabiot’s contract is up at the end of the season, and PSG are likely to try and cash in on him this January.

However, the latest report from ESPN states that Tottenham are considered to be below the standards of Rabiot, something that will not sit well with fans.

Should Spurs still be pursuing this player, or is he more trouble that he’s worth?

  1. Not sure would want someone who is that arrogant, maybe he would be better off going to man u then he could get the manager the sack if he didn’t come up to he’s expectations

  2. I’m convinced this is an England thing. France won the world cup and England had 9 players from the spurs squad in the team. Obviously! Not good enough for him to play with English internationals even if lloris and sissoko’ are there. PSG are a top side and it looks like he’s leaving, are they below expectations as well.. Hmm!! It’s a thought.

  3. Never seen him play live to have a view on whether he’s any good or not. Just seems like a huge load of hype.

If he doesn’t want to join us then no worries, we’ll find a better player who does.
