Tottenham Hotspur are considered to be ‘below’ this target

Tottenham Hotspur failed to sign a single new player in the summer transfer window this season, becoming the first Premier League side ever to do so.

Pochettino will likely only sign in the January window if he can trim the fat around his squad, with the likes of Mousa Dembele, Victor Wanyama, Michel Vorm, Fernando Llorente, Vincent Janssen, and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou all possible outgoings.

One player who Spurs may look to bring in is PSG bad boy Adrien Rabiot, a player who has refused to sign a new deal with the French giants.

Rabiot’s contract is up at the end of the season, and PSG are likely to try and cash in on him this January.

However, the latest report from ESPN states that Tottenham are considered to be below the standards of Rabiot, something that will not sit well with fans.

Should Spurs still be pursuing this player, or is he more trouble that he’s worth?
