Tottenham Hotspur become history-makers again – one day after their Champions League win

Tottenham Hotspur have written themselves into the history books this season, with this current crop of players becoming the first Spurs side to achieve a Champions League semi-final, let alone a final.

They also became the first Premier League club in history to go a whole summer transfer window without signing a player, later extending this to a whole season.

Lucas Moura became only the fifth man in history to score a Champions League semi-final hat-trick on Wednesday night, and it only took one half against Ajax.

However, the latest record broken by Spurs comes as part of a team. Tottenham and Liverpool will face off in the Champions League final on June 1st, but they are not the only English sides looking ahead to a European final.

On May 29, Arsenal and Chelsea will also go head to head in the Europa League final, making it the first time in history a nation has boasted all four European finalists in one season (TalkSPORT).

A great advert for the Premier League!
