Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed their starting XI for this afternoon’s clash against Manchester United as Thomas Frank looks to build on the momentum from last weekend’s spirited display.
Tottenham Hotspur are up against yet another Manchester side following their heroic second-half display against Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last time out.
The North Londoners managed to earn a 2-2 draw despite going two goals down in the first half against Pep Guardiola’s side.
While that is a big positive, there is no denying that results in the Premier League must improve, as Spurs are slowly getting dragged into a relegation scrap.
Securing a victory against an in-form Manchester United side – unbeaten in their last three – will for sure be the perfect way to boost morale.

Micky van de Ven returns for Tottenham
Frank is still dealing with an injury crisis, even though a few of his first-team stars have returned this afternoon.
The usuals remain absent with Mohammed Kudus, Ben Davies, Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Lucas Bergvall, and Rodrigo Bentancur sidelined.
Pedro Porro and Richarlison are also out but could well return ahead of the North London Derby, which is set to take place later this month.
Djed Spence is still out despite Frank revealing it was touch and go with the full-back, while Kevin Danso continues to nurse his snapped ligament after hyperextension.
Frank, however, can now call upon Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, who was subbed at half-time against Manchester City due to illness.
This is the Tottenham team that takes to the field at Old Trafford this afternoon:
MANCHESTER UNITED: Lammens; Dalot, Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes, Cunha; Mbeumo
TOTTENHAM: Vicario; Gray, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Palhinha, Gallagher; Odobert, Xavi Simons; Solanke.
Subs: Kinsky, Dragusin, Bissouma, Tel, Souza, Kolo Muani, Olusesi, Byfield, Williams-Barnett
The next five games for Spurs are rather difficult on paper, and they will need to go into the next couple of weeks with momentum, making securing a victory over United very crucial.

The Red Devils, on the other hand, have found it difficult to beat Tottenham as they are winless against the Lilywhites in their last seven encounters in all competitions.
Thomas Frank can take that positive going into this clash, but he will be wary of another slow start once again this weekend following the poor first half against City.
