Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace: Half time player ratings

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Dom Le Roy

Gazzaniga:6- First start for the Argentine. Fantastic low save from Scott Dann and a fine commanding catch late on, little to do so otherwise

Vertonghen:6- Solid dependable Mr Reliable. Rarely troubled

Sanchez:6- Solid again  Gaining experience with every game. Super player with a huge future

Dier:7-Strong and commanding in the middle of a back three, epitomized by an early intercepting tackle on Zaha and some important interceptions.

Rose:6- Handed a start ahead of Davies. Mostly going forward but with former team mate Andros Townsend on his wing has had a good bit of back tracking to do. Headed a decent chance wide

Aurier:6-Typically energetic display from the Frenchman. Up and down the right often. Final ball a bit off

Winks:7- So confident on the ball. Would actually remind you of Iniesta. Played a delicious pass through to Rose early

Sissoko:5- Fairly anonymous apart from a late burst in which he won a free in a dangerous place but quiet enough

Eriksen:6- Always busy always probing facing a tough nut to crack. Needs to up tempo in second half

Son:6- Playing closer to Kane. Sometimes looks like a headless chicken to be honest. Trying

Kane:6-Early scare with ankle knock. Perhaps should’ve done better with a header Being kept quiet by the Palace rearguard.
