Tottenham Hotspur eye up Ivory Coast central midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur failed to bring in any new signings this season, becoming the first Premier League club in history to do so.

While they introduced no new faces, Tottenham did wave goodbye to one on a permanent deal as Mousa Dembele transferred to China.

This has left a gap in the Spurs squad, and they will surely be in the market for a central midfielder come the summer.

One man currently linked with a move to North London is AC Milan’s Franck Kessie, who has featured in 21 of his club’s23 Serie A matches this season (Sportmediaset as reported by Sports Mole).

The Ivory Coast international has scored three and set up two from central midfield, clearly being a more potent goal threat than Dembele.

Arsenal and Chelsea are also both said to be interested in the midfield man who is contracted until the summer of 2021.

Could we see a bidding war between three London clubs come the summer?
