Tottenham Hotspur have announced that academy striker Will Lankshear has now signed a new three-year extension to his contract.
Lankshear arrived at Hotspur Way from the Sheffield United academy last summer and did not take long to make an impression, scoring twice on his debut for the Under-18s in their 3-3 draw against Wolves.
The teenager has scored eight goals in eight games across all competitions at that level this season, helping the side win the Under-18 Premier League Cup (Official website).
The striker also featured several times in Premier League 2 and scored once in two appearances in the UEFA Youth League this season (Transfermarkt).
It has now been confirmed that the 18-year-old has committed his future to Spurs until 2026.
Speaking after putting pen to paper on a new deal, Lankshear described the feeling as ‘surreal’, with the centre-forward remarking that he loves playing and scoring goals for Tottenham.

Spurs Web Opinion
This is fantastic news for Spurs as Lankshear is not just a natural goalscorer but also seems to possess all the attributes to evolve into a well-rounded centre-forward.
The teenager was unlucky with injuries next season and would be hoping to hit even greater heights for the Under-18s and Under-21s next season.
