A late loan move involving a Tottenham Hotspur youngster is beginning to gather pace as the final hours of the winter window tick away.
With only a few hours left before the winter window slams shut, deals are expected to be flying in right, left and centre, and Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be involved.
The Lilywhites are keen on making a few additions to their squad before the window closes, but a few players could well be heading out the door.
Spurs still have a few of their youngsters who will be itching for more regular minutes at the senior level, and one such player is already attracting interest with only hours left in the winter transfer window.

Tottenham youngster George Abbott attracting League One loan interest
According to journalist Alasdair Gold, it is understood that League One side Mansfield Town are currently leading the way to sign George Abbott today on loan from Spurs.
The Tottenham youngster has been sent out on loan several times already in his career with the Lilywhites and even earned a move to Wycombe Wanderers back in the summer.
However, Abbott picked up a serious injury in October last year and was recalled in January to north London as he worked his way back to full fitness.
Indeed, the 20-year-old remains in Tottenham’s plans, having signed a new deal last summer following an impressive loan stint with Notts County.
Why another loan move makes sense for Spurs and Abbott
Another loan deal is definitely a welcome development for the 20-year-old Abbott, who is capable of playing in central and defensive midfield.
While with Wycombe, the Tottenham academy graduate featured 15 times and scored one goal for the League One side.
Mansfield are currently 11th in the same division and sit two points off Wycombe in ninth, and ten points away from the promotion qualification spots.
