Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed who they will be playing in the curtain raiser a week before they travel to Brentford for their first Premier League game of the 2026-27 season.
Spurs have acted with urgency in the transfer market so far as they look to make big changes to their squad after escaping relegation by the skin of their teeth last season.
Plans are already underway for pre-season, with Tottenham set to face MK Dons on July 22 behind closed doors at Hotspur Way.
Following the clash against the League One side, Spurs will go on a pre-season tour of Australia and New Zealand, where they will take on Auckland FC, Sydney FC and Chelsea.

Tottenham will face Bundesliga side at home in final pre-season fixture
Spurs have now confirmed that they will host Hoffenheim at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 15 August, exactly a week before they travel to the Gtech Community Stadium.
Hoffenheim finished in fifth place in the Bundesliga last term, with 61 points from 34 games, just narrowly missing out on Champions League qualification.
They will provide a stern test for Roberto De Zerbi’s side, and a packed house is expected for the clash, with Spurs revealing that adult tickets have been priced at £20, while juniors will be charged just £5.
Interestingly, Football.London have revealed that Tottenham will also play a second fixture with Hoffenheim on the very next day (Sunday, August 16), behind closed doors at Hotspur Way.
This is perhaps intended to ensure that the entire squad is match-ready and has close to a full 90 minutes under their belt before the season gets underway.
Several Spurs stars could miss early pre-season fixtures
10 Tottenham players have qualified for the knockout stages of the World Cup, and many of them will be hoping to go far in the tournament.
In fact, Andy Robertson (Scotland) and Rodrigo Bentancur (Uruguay) are the only two Spurs players who have bowed out of the World Cup in the group stages.
That is far from ideal for Roberto De Zerbi and his staff, as it means that many players could miss the early part of pre-season.
However, De Zerbi will have a full squad for the clash against Hoffenheim, and his selection for that clash could be the best indication of what his starting eleven will look like at Brentford.
