Ramon Vega has made a big claim about Tottenham Hotspur’s controversial managerial decision over the summer.
There are now serious calls from Tottenham fans to sack Thomas Frank after the Lilywhites fell to yet another home defeat on Saturday.
Spurs now have the second-worst home record across the Premier League this season, only better than Wolves, who are rooted to the bottom of the table.
Frank’s decision to criticise Tottenham fans for booing Guglielmo Vicario has landed him in even more hot water with the fan base, who are now at the end of their patience with the Dane’s perceived negative approach.

Ramon Vega claims Tottenham should have never sacked Ange Postecoglou
Vega has been very vocal in his criticism of Frank over the past week, and the Swiss defender has made another big declaration following the side’s latest defeat.
He has taken to social media to insist that Tottenham made a mistake by sacking Postecoglou after their Europa League triumph in the summer.
Vega wrote: “Now I have to repeat it! Spurs should never have sacked Ange Postecoglou!”
He also drew a comparison between where Tottenham were after 13 league games last season and where they are now.
Vega accuses Frank of not being true to his words
The former Tottenham defender’s main bone of contention appears to be the 52-year-old’s style of play.
Vega reposted Frank’s previous press conference from the summer, where the Spurs boss spoke about wanting the side to be ‘brave and aggressive’, and questioned why he has not followed through.
The 54-year-old also hinted soon after Tottenham’s loss to Fulham that he expected the club to sack the former Brentford boss.
