Tottenham Hotspur were the first team to do this at the Camp Nou since 2006

As every single Tottenham fan in the world knows, Spurs secured their last 16 place in the Champions League with an iconic 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou against Barcelona.

The game last Tuesday was make or break for the Tottenham boys, as they needed to match any result gained by Inter Milan.

Luckily PSV held the Italians to a draw, and Tottenham’s point against Barca was enough to send them through second.

However, 1-1 didn’t tell the whole story at the Camp Nou, as Tottenham missed a whole host of chances to score, and in all honesty, bossed the game.

It was a weakened Barcelona team, but still had class all the way through, and Spurs grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck.

Tottenham became the first team since 2006 to go to the Nou Camp in the Champions League and prevent Barca from having more than 50% possession (90 Min).

Spurs played Barca at their own game, went toe-to-toe, and came out the other side still alive in the competition.
