Tottenham Hotspur have settled on their top choice to replace Igor Tudor, but they have work to do to get their desired managerial target through the door.

According to various sources, Spurs are now considering all their options regarding Tudor, who has overseen four straight losses since taking over in North London.

According to reports, Tudor has now lost the support of the Spurs dressing room, with the players alleged to have been shocked by his selections and approach.

The Lilywhites have now reportedly made a big decision as they consider making a second managerial change in less than a month.

Sean Dyche is now the leading candidate to take over at Tottenham

A couple of days ago, it emerged that some at Tottenham view Sean Dyche as the ideal option to get a response from a set of players who are lacking in confidence.

A new report in The Sun has now claimed that the former Burnley boss is now the ‘leading candidate’ to replace Tudor if Spurs do pull the plug on the 47-year-old.

It is revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are likely to appoint a temporary stopgap if they do decide to get rid of the Croat.

Dyche is now in ‘pole position’ to get the job, but it is revealed that the North Londoners would have to convince the 54-year-old of the attraction of the job, given that the club is in a downward spiral.

Unfortunately, other reports indicate that Dyche might not want the Tottenham job because he isn’t keen on a short-term position.

How long is Tudor expected to remain in charge?

The Sun make it clear that Spurs have not yet made a final decision on the future of Tudor, despite the embarrassing Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid.

The former Juventus boss took the press conference ahead of the Liverpool clash, and the outlet reveals that he is unlikely to be sacked before Sunday’s game at Anfield.

According to some sources, Tudor is expected to be given until the March international break to save his Tottenham job.
