Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up whether to sign a Premier League goalkeeper who is attracting interest from teams across Europe.
Guglielmo Vicario has had a season full of ups and downs, from man of the match performances to schoolboy errors.
This has raised questions over his future and one report claimed Vicario wants to return to Italy, with Inter Milan in contact with the goalkeeper’s representatives.
However, Vicario is seen as an integral part of the Tottenham project and any new goalkeeper would reportedly be an understudy to him, rather than a replacement.

Tottenham admire Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen
According to Team Talk, Tottenham are working hard on prospective goalkeepers targets and are admiriers of Brighton & Hove Albion’s Bart Verbruggen, having been impressed by his performances.
Spurs are making checks on Vergbruggen and he is seen as one of their stronger options if Vicario decides to return to Italy, with both Milan clubs down interested in the shot-stopper.
Chelsea have had a long-standing interest in Verbruggen, while Manchester City considered signing him before adding Gianluigi Donnarumma to their squad last summer. Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in the 23-year-old.
Spurs are also interested in James Trafford
Team Talk also report that Spurs are looking at James Trafford. The ex-Burnley goalkeeper rejoined Manchester City in the summer, but he has been their second choice behind Donnarumma.
While Brighton have been known to sell their players for high transfer fees, Trafford joined City in a deal worth £31m. Therefore, he could be a more affordable option and also someone is not attracting as much interest from other clubs as Verbruggen.
