According to a report from Italy, Tottenham Hotspur are in contact with one Serie A club over a deal for a 24-year-old after the club changed their transfer stance on the player.
Are Tottenham on the lookout for late market opportunities?
Having been unable to bring a forward through the door so far this window, the Lilywhites are now seemingly on the lookout for market opportunities that open up on transfer deadline day.
Over recent hours, we have heard reports that Tottenham have explored moves for both Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey and Chelsea’s Joao Felix.
Over the weekend, we heard that Milan had offered Spurs the chance to sign Noah Okafor, who the Rossoneri are keen to offload before the transfer deadline.

Tottenham in talks over deal for Noah Okafor
According to the print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (as relayed by Sport Witness) a late move to the Premier League is still very much on the cards for Okafor.
The report says that both Tottenham and West Ham are interested in securing the 24-year-old, with both London clubs ‘in contact’ with Milan regarding the player.
Interestingly, it is explained that Sergio Conceicao’s men were initially looking to offload Okafor permanently, but they have now changed their stance and are open to loaning out the Swiss international.

Many late deals potentially on offer
With various clubs across Europe being in a tricky financial situation, it appears as if a number of deadline-day moves are expected to go through.
Tottenham would be hoping to profit and get a couple of smart late deals over the line, but it remains to be seen if they will get their desired targets.
Ange Postecoglou has already made it clear that Spurs will not bring bodies through the door for the sake of it, and the club will only act if the right options become available.
