Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on German football director Sebastian Kehl as they look to conclude their quest to replace Fabio Paratici.
Paratici’s exit from Spurs last month leaves Johan Lange as Tottenham’s only sporting director.
Reports over the last few days have indicated that Spurs have begun work to replace Paratici, with the club wanting an appointment in place before the summer so that the newcomer can have an input on the club’s next permanent head coach.

A new name has now been thrown into the hat in the race for the Tottenham sporting director job, with The Telegraph revealing that Sebastian Kehl has emerged as a contender.
The former midfielder, who played 362 times for Dortmund, has served as the Bundesliga giants’ sporting director since 2021.
Kehl left his role with the German club on Sunday, and the report says that he has immediately emerged as an option for Spurs.
The outlet adds that Tottenham ‘are entering the final stages’ of their hunt for a new director, but it is not revealed exactly when an appointment is expected to be confirmed by the North London club.
