The Premier League season is not too far off from kicking off, but Tottenham still have several injury concerns to worry about.
Roberto De Zerbi‘s focus for the majority of Tottenham’s pre-season this summer has been on avoiding injuries to key players. It is no surprise, given the number of injuries Spurs have had to contend with over the last two seasons.
Last campaign, Tottenham were labelled the unluckiest side in the Premier League after having the most players sidelined through injury.
But those concerns still remain for De Zerbi, as several players are not yet at full fitness despite the Premier League campaign kicking off in a little over two weeks.

Tottenham injury latest as several players are yet to feature in pre-season
So far in pre-season, several Tottenham stars have been absent or simply not involved. James Maddison, Destiny Udogie and Micky van de Ven are among the players yet to feature in pre-season, particularly on the tour, despite being included in the squad.
Maddison is currently nursing a knock following his recent return from the ACL injury he sustained towards the end of last season.
Udogie, on the other hand, is seeing his fitness carefully managed, given his recent injury record. Against Chelsea, the Tottenham medical staff did not deem him fit enough to be involved.
Van de Ven, however, is only just returning from the World Cup and has yet to feature for Spurs despite travelling with the squad to Australia.
It remains to be seen whether he will be involved in Tottenham’s remaining pre-season games before the Premier League campaign gets underway for Spurs on August 22.

Spurs still managing several injury concerns
Tottenham also have players who are currently nursing long-term injuries. Xavi Simons and Wilson Odobert fall into that bracket. The pair picked up ACL knocks and are on the treatment table.
Meanwhile, the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Dejan Kulusevski are continuing their rehabilitation at Hotspur Way as they work their way back towards full fitness.
This leaves head coach Roberto De Zerbi with plenty still to manage in terms of his squad’s fitness before the new Premier League season gets underway.
