Tottenham injury news ahead of Crystal Palace away

Tottenham Hotspur still have a few injury concerns as they prepare for Crystal Palace away in the late Saturday kick off this weekend.

Spurs only just managed to get first team stars Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, and Mousa Dembele back before a new batch of players picked up knocks.

Dembele was only back for a week before he picked up a second injury seven minutes into his 250th Spurs game.

The club have now confirmed that scans showed ligament damage to his right ankle which will probably keep him out until the new year.

He joins Danny Rose, Jan Vertonghen, Luke Amos and Vincent Janssen on the long term absentee list.

Vertonghen and Rose are both continuing their own rehabilitation, but are not yet close to a return.

There is good news for Tottenham however, as Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama both returned to training this week.

This will help spread the workload in the central position, with Harry Winks in particular playing a lot of football over the past two weeks.
