Tottenham insider reveals Postecoglou has two new injury concerns for this weekend

Paul O Keefe, who regularly breaks news about the developments at Hotspur Way, has now revealed that Pedro Porro has picked up a muscle injury.

Tottenham have had rotten luck with injuries throughout the season, with the majority of the squad spending at least a few weeks on the treatment table.

It is only over recent weeks that Ange Postecoglou has had a nearly fully fit squad to work with and the value of a strong bench was demonstrated last Saturday, with Son Heung-min and Brennan Johnson combining for the winner after coming on as substitutes.

Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie are being assessed

However, it now turns out that the Australian coach potentially faces without being another two of his key players.

O’Keefe revealed that Porro has picked up a muscle injury, with the club now said to be assessing the extent of the damage. He also confirms that Destiny Udogie, who came off with discomfort against Brighton, has not trained this week.

Porro had been one of our only regular starters who had not spent any time on the treatment table this season and given the amount of football the Spaniard has played, it was almost inevitable that he was going to pull up with a muscle injury.

Hopefully, it is not serious and he returns to action swiftly. It will be a significant blow for Postecoglou if he is without both of his first-choice full-backs for the clash against Wolves.
